Squad members Shaun Jarvis and Dylan Schmidt were in Canberra to compete at the 2011 bmx games. Shaun went to compete in the flatland while Dylan competed in amateur park.
Shaun defiantly had a hard time with the surface for the comp as it was extremely poor and bumpy but the competition went down with Shaun taking out a tied 3rd place. Dylan annihilated the park course in the amateur class and qualified in first place out of 35 competitors. In the finals many of the other riders were hitting flairs and backflips but Dylan took his FN skills to the course with power and flow and without a flip or flair impressed the judges enough to score the win. Dylan is well stoked and will possibly set his sights on competing in the pro class next year at the bmx games.
