The Freestyle Now BMX Stunt Show Returns to the Craigieburn Festival

It was great to return to the Craigieburn Festival in Victoria for the third time, rolling out the rad with some big BMX stunt shows in front of over 15,000 people. That kind of crowd, that kind of atmosphere, it’s exactly the type of event Freestyle Now was made for.
Leading the charge was Freestyle Now co-founder Shaun Jarvis, joined by Andrew Ahumada, Cooper Wilson and Brodie Quick, all of whom have performed with Freestyle Now many times over the years and know exactly how to work a crowd.
The tricks came fast and they came big. Aerial maneuvers that had the crowd craning their necks, flips and spins that seemed to hang in the air just long enough to make you question gravity, and a relentless flow of riding that kept the energy cranked from start to finish. Every time someone thought they’d seen the highlight of the show, the next rider rolled in and topped it.
A Freestyle Now show has never just been about what happens on the ramps. The crowd is just as much a part of the show. Families packed in close, kids perched on shoulders, everyone locked in and riding every moment with us. The energy flows both ways. The crowd lifts the riders and the riders push harder because of it. That connection between the performers and the audience is what separates a great show from an unforgettable one.
