The 2025 WA Freestyle BMX State Championships delivered heat, storms, and unreal riding. From the under 7s to over 15s, WA’s next generation of BMX talent showed serious progression and qualified for Nationals.

Freestyle Now brought BMX coaching and flatland demonstrations to a local WestCycle bike event. Shaun Jarvis and Jack Carwardine inspired riders of all levels with tricks, combinations, and big stoke—no ramps required!

The Ellenbrook Dirt Jump Competition went down in brutal summer heat, but the riding stayed red hot. From a 0.67-point BMX Intermediate battle to big wins in BMX Open and MTB Open, plus Best Whip and Best Trick side comps, this was a day of pure dirt jump stoke.

Port Kennedy Skatepark came alive during the City of Rockingham Youth Festival, with scooter, skateboard, and BMX riders throwing down big tricks, smart runs, and fearless riding. Tight formats, heavy progression, and a buzzing crowd made this competition one to remember.

The Groundswell Festival Rail Jam delivered pure chaos in the best way possible, with BMX, scooter and skateboard riders throwing down big tricks on the stair set and rail in front of a buzzing crowd. High energy, heavy hits and unforgettable moments made this one of the standout sessions of the festival.

Riders brought the stoke to Bibra Lake Skatepark with huge airs, whips, and barspins. BMX and scooter divisions were packed with talent, standout runs from Jacob Roughton, Jacob Flavelle, Brandon Black, and rising stars kept the crowd buzzing all day.

Freestyle Now founder Shaun Jarvis is recognised for over four decades of dedication to BMX — as a rider, coach, performer, and community leader. A huge milestone for Freestyle Now, celebrating a lifetime shaping BMX and inspiring generations.

The 2025 Groundswell Grind skateboard competition brought together skaters aged 6 to 61 for a high-energy day of bowl riding, progression and community vibes at the Groundswell Festival. Big crowds, flowing runs and all-time atmosphere made it one to remember.
